Atone

Thousands of years before our time, there was a forest, distant from mankind. This grove, known as the Forest of Amagras, served as a safehaven for its tribes, as well as any weary wanderer who would find themselves within the woods. However, man grew greedy, and due to their hubris, the tribes people used their two magical orbs to seal the forest away.

Millennia later, a young tribesman named Kutoka grows bored of the isolation within the forest, and steals one of the two orbs. Not realising the damage he would cause, he absconded with the artifact, indirectly causing the barrier surrounding the hidden to time grove to fall, revealing itself to the now modern world.

Not long after, a private militia known as the Valiant Corps moved in, slaughtering the tribe in search of the power that had sealed the forest away for so long. Whilst they were successful in retrieving one orb, they were unable to gain its power without its' twin, and destroyed the remaining tribes, as well as a large section of the forest, in search of their artifact’s partner.

Now, realising his mistake, Kutoka has returned to the forest, to correct his mistake, and atone for his sins...

Atone is a third person stealth game that takes place within the Forest of Amagras, an ancient forest long lost to time, flush with primordial fauna and an ancient culture. However, the recent invasion of the Valiant Corps has caused the loss of most life within the woods, and now the once flourishing grove has become a wasteland, filled with only soldiers and blazed ground.

Now you must take control of Kutoka, the young tribesman responsible for this atrocity, as he attempts to atone for his sins. Using his natural stealth and agility, you must navigate the remaining woodland, as well as the newly installed military base of the Valiant Corps, to retrieve the other orb and restore your homeland.

Atone is a unique third person stealth game, where you are outgunned and out-manned, and must use the landscape to your advantage to work your way through and around two distinct areas, one more natural and tribal, the other heavily military. Put your stealth skills to the test as you sneak past the eery gaze of the Valiant Corps’ soldiers, to claim your prize and restore peace.
